How to Raise a Canopy of Prayer

Any one any where can raise a canopy of prayer over a community.

1. Commit to be part of the Canopy of Prayer as an individual or group.
2. Network with those you know and spread the vision ? Command Two help send you information on how to begin in your city or state
3. Be an ambassador ? those who will go out and speak in their area.
4. Teach on prayer.
a. Prayer walking in the neighborhood
b. The importance of repentance personal and corporately.
c. Establishing houses of prayer in homes, schools or businesses.
5. Encourage your congregation to be involved in prayer evangelism.
6. Try Sunday school classes on Marketplace ministry - get a marketplace member to lead the class. (teaching material - "Anointed for Business" and "Prayer Evangelism" are great resourses.
7. Encourage members to establish prayer meetings in the workplace.

Reaching Our Cities

The purpose is to reach our cities for Christ through prayer evangelism. See, our area is the very heart of North America. As the heart goes, so will the body. I asked the Lord how this was to be done, and He said "One by one"

We use the technique Jesus taught in Luke 10. First speak peace, then build relationships, then pray for felt needs, and finally (when God opens the door) tell that person the kingdom of God has come.

It is an easy way to evangelize the lost - no class to take, no memory work, no special position you must have, just a sincere love and compassion for the lost. It take people being transparent and vulnerable. Befriend someone and build a loving grace filled non judgemental relationship with that person. They will see Jesus when we allow Jesus's pure love to flow through us to them.

It is so simple. We are asking people to be real - who they are, to love,
and to pray for others as God open the doors.
